EKOW ORLEANS BOHAM (GROUP CEO)


Ekow Orleans Boham is the Group CEO of the inCharge Group. The group comprises of iPay Network, inCharge Global, Softworks and Hyperfi Switch Systems; all of which are companies specialized in different areas of the Cards and Payments Industry. He is also the Chief Executive Officer of REOB Financial Services. He holds a first degree in Accounting from the Central University College and a Masters Degree in Finance from GIMPA, Achimota-Accra.


He has an extensive banking career spanning over 15years with Merchant Bank Ghana limited. His expertise covers General Banking Operations, Foreign Operations, Remittances, Registrar Services and Branch banking. His recent role as the Manager of the Remittances Business of the bank gave him an extensive international business exposure which covered countries Germany, Spain, South Africa, Sweden, Denmark, United Kingdom and United States of America.

 

His key responsibilities included expanding the remittance operations by engaging and negotiating with credible international partners. The expansion also involved consulting with IT specialists to develop a first Class Remittance Software that resulted in significant growth of the remittance business.


He was also a core member of the Bank’s Software Changeover Team.


He has attended several international and local business training and seminars which has greatly sharpened his skills. His dissertations for his qualifications were on Rural Financing and Micro-lending among Small & Medium Scale Entrepreneurs. He is also in-charge of the finance of the group’s operations.


He is married with three children.

 

 


SHEILA PENELOPE BARTELS-SAM, CEO OF INCHARGE GLOBAL LTD


Sheila Penelope Bartels-Sam is currently the CEO of InCharge Global Ltd, an Electronic payments processing company with a specialty in Loyalty and Payments Management. Sheila is an incisive, results-oriented entrepreneur, with Management skills and over 12 years of striking operating and P & L success in start-up and rapid-growth firms in US and Ghana.


A strategic planner and critical thinker with proven analytical and problem resolution skills, Sheila is a Manager, team leader and coach; with excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills at all levels.

 

Sheila Sam has worked with a number of reputable firms and organizations both in Ghana and the U.S.A. She is experienced in such areas as International Retail, Outsourcing, Project Management, Startup Ops, P&L Budget Planning, Procedure Development and Process Improvement.


Before inCharge Global, Sheila co-founded Platinum Technologies, a Ghanaian company that provides outsourced data processing and contact center services for US corporations. The company built a niche in financial services data processing for multi-nationals. Before Platinum Technologies, Sheila co-founded and run B-Sam’s Travel Enterprises in Maryland, USA, a travel services company which provides electronic ticketing and tourist package services for US clients to the world.


Her personal passion of coaching young entrepreneurs especially women, has taken her around the world where she has spoken on various fora on Technology and Women development. She has built several business relationships through these opportunities, which has catapulted inCharge to become a Payments Giant in Ghana.


She is a member of the Electronic Transactions Assocation (ETA) USA, an Old Achimotan (AKORA) and a founding corporate member of GASSCOM. She is married with three (3) children.


 

DELLA PORBLEY (HEAD OF SYSTEMS, SOFTWARE AND GATEWAYS)


Della Porbley is an Information Technology professional with over 15 years of work experience in Ghana and abroad, and with 10 of years of corporate management experience. He has executed several projects in the areas of systems analysis and engineering, operations management, training and development, and information technology management.

 

Della has worked with a number of multi-national corporations and with diverse cultures, some of these organizations being Multichoice PTY, Multichoice Ghana Limited, Goldfields Ghana Limited, and Supra Telecom LLC.

 

Della currently manages inCharge Systems and Software, with direct oversight over all Internal and External Networks.

 

Della is happily married to Mabel.

 

 

 

NANA SAM (HEAD OF TECHNICAL OPERATIONS)


Nana Sam studied Computer Sciences and graduated from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana. After a year working at the Tema Oil Refinery, he left to the USA where he attended and graduated from the Wheaton School of Technology, USA;


Nana Sam worked as an Executive Officer from May 1998 to May 2000 at the Ghana Embassy, Washing ton DC USA where he managed the passports division and its systems for four years. He relocated to Ghana and established Platinum Technologies in 2001. Nana was in charge of the architechture design of the systems that run the BPO Operations of Platinum Technologies. He has practised privately as an IT Consultant for over 10 years.

He is currently the Project Manager for the Goil Advantage Fuel Card which has been in operations for the last three years; and manages the technical operations of the business.


Nana was born on the 16th of June 1972 and is married with three (3) children. He is a Director and a Shareholder of inCharge Group; and is currently an Associate Pastor at the Prayer of Hope Ministry, Burma Camp.


 

 

 

DUKE YARTEY, HEAD OF CARDS (IPAY NETWORK)


Mr. Duke Emmanuel Yartey, Head of Cards; holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Banking and Finance from the Central University College in Accra and a Higher National Diploma in Purchasing and Supply from the Institute of Management Studies, also in Accra.


Having worked with Millicom Ghana Limited in the Sales and Marketing department over an eight year period, he acquired extensive experience and insight of the Telecommunication industry with which he established his private sales agency and managed for four more years. Within these periods, he traveled to countries including Dubai, China, Kenya and Nigeria to establish business relations. From his traveling and entrepreneurial activities, he gained an appointment as Country manager  (Ghana)  for  Haier Telecommunications’ South American division responsible for the Sub-Saharan African region .


He also welcomed the opportunity to serve in the Electronic Payment Industry and worked as the Business Operations Manager for Platinum Technologies Company Limited until assuming the office of Head of Cards, inCharge Global Group in charge of its company iPay Network Limited.  


Duke is happily married with four children.
